Künstlerhaus, Gallery View with Print Paper Sculpture (Ladder)

At the International Print Triennial exhibition at the
Künstlerhaus in Vienna in 2007, Michael Wegerer showed “Obviously”,
which comprised a full-sized stepladder made from paper
printed by woodcut with highly detailed wood grain, and
with simulated metal hinges likewise made with paper. This
sculpture encapsulated with precision the way in which
Wegerer approaches the questions about reality.
